Tina is the founder and director of True Colours Consulting. She began her journey at Pacific Riding for Abilities, where she found joy working with horses and neurodiverse children. While there, an Occupational Therapist guided her toward ABA therapy, and she quickly began dreaming of applying the principles of ABA to horse therapy. Tina started working as a behaviour interventionist in 2007 and took a break to raise her children for 5 years. In 2017, she returned to the field and began pursuing her BCBA certification and was certified February 2022. She is very excited to welcome learners to the farm and to share the joy the horses at True Colours bring. Tina is a strong believer in following the learners' lead and honouring their communication, whether it be in words, AAC, or behaviour. She continues to listen to the autistic community in an effort to adapt and change while providing trauma-informed interventions.
